V8 DIRT MODIFIED
V8 Dirt Modified racing is regarded as the most progressive class in speedway Racing today, after the Feature Race spectators almost always comment how great the racing was to watch. The modern V8 Dirt Modified has evolved from speedway Hot Rods of the yester year, however now with more refined chassis and suspension designs and 550-600 hp engines they can produce lap times second only to
sprint cars. Entry-level cars can be purchased for around $10,000 and there are usually 10-15 race meetings in every State and mainland Australia through out the racing season, which starts at Archerfield Speedway on the 27
sept and ends in May.
